As if the awesome-as-heck Bowsertron 5000 wasn't enough to get us hyped for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Nintendo has revealed that the Captain Toad levels featured in the game will now support multiplayer. Bloober Team's dual-reality survival horror The Medium gets December release date

Bloober Team, the developer behind the likes of Layers of Fear and Observer, will be bringing its dual-survival reality horror The Medium to Xbox Series X/S and PC on 10th December. The Medium (which was initially announced for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U back in 2012 before dramatically changing course), casts players as the psychically gifted Marianne - a woman who's been haunted by visions of a child's murder for years - who travels to an abandoned hotel resort in a bid to find answers. Notably, it's Bloober's first stab at third-person horror (as it discussed in more detail when we spoke earlier this year) and its semi-fixed camera, combined with a soundtrack created by legendary composer Akira Yamaoka, gives the experience something of a Silent Hill vibe.

First Impressions: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Don't get RC about it, you might like it. You probably don't need us to tell you that Mario Kart is one of Nintendo's crown jewels; the series has sold a staggering 150 million copies to date, with 35 million of those attributable to the most recent mainline instalment, Mario Kart 8 – which, in a rather unique twist, is currently the best-selling game on both the Wii U and Switch, thanks to its "Deluxe" update. All of this might lead you to assume that Nintendo would have a full-blown sequel on store shelves by now (Mario Kart 8 came out in 2014, lest we forget), but instead, we're getting something that has the potential to be even more interesting: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

Nintendo Shares Mario’s Super Picross Tutorial As The Game Arrives On Switch

Appearing for the first time in the US. One of the four new games available on the Nintendo Switch Online service today is Mario's Super Picross, a puzzle game that launched for the Super Famicom back in 1995. Prolific modder Waikuteru – the same person who gave us Skyward Sword's Sandship Dungeon and a Mario Kart course in Breath of the Wild – is back with yet another amazing mod which marks the first time that a Custom Dungeon has been made available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game (on a modded console, of course). The modder has created a version of the "Skyview Temple" from Skyward Sword which works on both the Wii U and Switch versions of BotW, as well as in emulators such as Cemu, yuzu and Ryujinx.
